The Graduate Admission Process

Wilmington University honors an open admissions policy and welcomes applications from all interested potential students. Admission is granted to students who show promise of success. Multiple criteria are considered for admission, and special attention is directed toward one's present motivation and employment setting.

Admissions requirements and starting enrollment dates vary with each degree program.

  • Candidates for Wilmington University’s graduate programs must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution.
  1. Submit the Wilmington University graduate application for admission and the non-refundable application fee of $35.
  2. Send an official transcript from an accredited college, university, or other degree-granting institution, verifying completion of a bachelor's degree. We accept electronic transcripts from eSCRIP-SAFE® and Docufide®, or send official transcript(s) directly from the identified college or university to:

  3. Schedule a Program Planning Conference or attend a degree specific orientation. Please refer to the calendar for upcoming orientation dates.
  4. Complete a writing assessment. Students who do not meet the University standard will be expected to complete ENG 365 Available Online, Academic Writing.
