The Doberstein Admissions Classroom Building houses many of the necessary services for students. This is where the Undergraduate Admissions Office can be found, along with University Safety and Security, the University Information Center, the Registrar’s Office, Student Payment, Auditorium, and the New Castle Cafe. The second and third floors hold 22 classrooms, 3 computer labs, and Odium with stadium style seating. The DAC has Wi-Fi capabilities throughout the building.
The Undergraduate Admissions Area is where prospective and new students can find all information pertaining to becoming a Wilmington University student. Applications can be submitted online, but all other admissions materials should be mailed to or dropped off at this office. Admissions Associates provide assistance with course schedules; campus tours and helping students register for the first time. All freshman and students transferring less than 30 credits can speak with an Admissions Associate to begin their studies.
The University Information Center is where all questions are directed to when anyone contacts the main University telephone number. The Information Center Representatives answer questions over the phone, through online chat on our website and also speak with student’s in-person. They assist all areas of the University. If students ever have a question, feel free to drop in!
Student Financial Services assists students with payments, financial aid and any questions that you may have about paying for your education. The Student Financial Services Office is located on the first floor of the DAC building, to the right of the main lobby, next to the Registrar’s Office.
Registration for all students can be completed online through WebCampus. The Registrar’s Office supports course registration requests for all students. They also process FERPA forms and petition to graduate forms, provide transcripts and manage a variety of other tasks associated with all students’ registration.
The New Castle Café is located on the first floor of the DAC Building and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the semester. It has a full menu with daily specials and a salad bar.
The Academic Advising Office is located on the second floor of the DAC building. Advisors meet with incoming students to assist with courses schedules. All transfer students must have transcripts evaluated and approved by an Advisor prior to registration. The Advising Office schedules appointments and also accepts walk-ins.
The Student Success Center is located on the second floor of the DAC building. The SSC provides online and traditional tutoring (for undergraduate and graduates), a mentoring program, workshops, seminars and learning resources. Incoming students complete Placement Tests at the Student Success Center.
Classrooms in the DAC building are located on the second and third floors. There are a total of 22 classrooms, 3 computer labs and the Odium, which has stadium style seating. Many events around campus are held in the Auditorium, which is on the first floor of the DAC. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
The Dorothy C. Peoples Library building houses the University Library, all of the college offices, 12 classrooms spread throughout the first and third floors, 13 computer labs and several technology labs. The Library has recently undergone significant renovations and now holds a café, a new social area and an increased amount of computer workstations and group study rooms. On the third floor of the building there are science labs, a nursing lab and curriculum lab for the College of Education. The Peoples Library building has Wi-Fi capabilities throughout.
The Library is located on the first floor of the Peoples Building and has recently undergone significant renovations. There are 40 computer workstations, 9 enclosed group study rooms, an area with comfortable seating and ports for laptop hookups. There is also a café offering coffee and snacks. The Peoples Library building has WI-FI capabilities throughout.
The College of Technology is located on the ground floor of the Peoples Building. There are PC and Mac workstations equipped with the latest technology and software. In total there are 13 computer labs(view lab hours). In addition, there are both photography and video studios equipped with green screens.
Classes in the Peoples Building are held on the ground floor and the 2nd floor. Along with classrooms, there are science labs, a nursing lab, and curriculum lab for the College of Education. On the 2nd floor there is also a lounge area with vending machines and couches.
The Pratt Student Center houses our gymnasium, athletics offices and training room. There is also a student lounge with couches, flat screen TV, and a ping pong table. The Financial Aid office is also located in the Pratt.
The Student Lounge is located in the center of the Pratt Building and has comfortable couches, a flat screen TV, and a ping pong table. The Student Life department holds many events in this area.
Wilmington University has 11 NCAA Division II athletic programs. Men's and Women's Basketball, and Volleyball all play their games here. Coaches offices are also located in the gym area.
The financial aid process is completed online. If you need to speak with a financial aid officer in person, offices are located in the Pratt Student Center.

The Wilmington University Bookstore, Classrooms, and Alumni Center are located in the Annex.
All undergraduate students can purchase books, apparel, and supplies here.
Evening classes are held in the 300 section of the Annex.
The Alumni Center holds 7 classrooms and is a satellite location for security.
