A Seamless Transition

Wilmington University is pleased to have long-standing partnerships with several two-year colleges throughout the region. These partnerships enable graduates who have earned an associate’s degree to seamlessly transfer their credits into an advanced degree program. Wilmington University continues the spirit of access for all by guaranteeing admission from partner schools to bachelor’s degrees in a wide range of fields.

Whether you're transferring from a partner school or have completed your Associate's degree, Wilmington University accepts up to 75 transfer credits toward your Bachelor's degree.

Admission Made Easy

  1. Submit an application for admission with the required $35 application fee.

  2. Submit official documentation to the Office of Admissions:
    1. Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
    2. Official high school transcript if transferring less than 15 college credits
    3. Immunization Records (required for all nursing and education students and full-time students in other majors taking classes on campus)
    4. Nursing students must submit a copy of their current RN license.
    5. International Students must contact the Admissions International Student Associate.
    6. After the receipt of all official transcripts, a transfer credit evaluation will be completed
  3. Apply for Financial Aid (if desired) by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Wilmington University’s School Code is 007948.
  4. Contact the Office of Academic Advising to schedule an appointment to review program specifics and degree audit.
  5. Select your first semester courses.
  6. Register for courses online using WebCampus.

Wilmington University works with partner schools to support Program-to- Program articulations. In an effort to encourage the continued education of associate’s degree students, Wilmington University has developed a simple transfer credit procedure that honors the entire associate degree from our partner schools.

Wilmington University also offers dual-admission with many of its partner schools, in which you can be admitted to Wilmington University during the first year at your two-year school. You will then know exactly which courses to take as you complete your Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees.
