Returning Students
Did you take a break from school?
Students who are not enrolled in courses for three consecutive semesters or (12 months) are considered inactive and must re-apply to continue coursework. Students must meet all of the admission and program requirements in effect on the date of readmission. A student will not be able to register until the readmission process is completed.
Please follow the below steps to re-apply:
- Submit a Wilmington University undergraduate or graduate application for admission and the $35 non-refundable application fee.
- Students are encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor or Program Coordinator to review program changes.
- If not already submitted, have Official transcripts sent electronically or via mail in a sealed envelope directly from the school of attendance.
Did you already earn a degree from WilmU?
Students who have previously completed a degree at Wilmington University should follow the steps below in addition to the Graduate Admission Process and the Undergraduate Admission Process.
Please follow the below steps to apply:
- Submit a Wilmington University undergraduate or graduate application for admission and the $35 non-refundable application fee.
- Transcripts for degrees earned at Wilmington University do not need to be requested.

If you plan to use financial aid, please keep in mind that funds cannot be released until the prior degree is conferred.
