Academic Advising services are an essential element of the Wilmington University student support system. The efforts of the office of advising are focused on emphasizing overall student development by ensuring that the needs of students are met in the most efficient, effective, and productive manner possible.

At the New Castle campus the advising office is located on the first floor of the Admissions and Classroom Center. Students attending other sites should check with their site office. Graduate students should contact their Program Coordinator.

All new students wishing to make a successful adjustment to Wilmington University should take advantage of the Academic Advising services. All students are encouraged to schedule appointments with their Academic Advisor prior to registering to obtain guidance on course selection. Academic Advisors are available on a walk-in basis during registration; however, scheduled appointments prior to registration periods are recommended. New applicants, students seeking readmission and alumni of Wilmington University will need to see an Admissions Office representative.
