
Bret Urban begins his second year as an assistant coach for the Wilmington University baseball program. His responsibilities will include working with the Wildcat pitching staff. Coach Urban is returning to Wilmington after finishing his career in 2006. He also spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Harford Community College. As a Wildcat, Coach Urban was a member of the 2003 Regional Championship team. Bret played all four years at Wilmington, and accumulated a career record of 20-13. He also holds the school record with 240 career strikeouts. Coach Urban also holds the school’s single-game strikeout record at 17, during an ECAC Tournament game. Bret graduated in 2007 with a B.S. in General Studies, but has returned to the University to pursue an undergraduate degree in Finance. Coach Urban still continues to play baseball in the Delaware Semi-Pro Baseball League.
