Biography

Jordan Johnson joins the Wildcat staff after playing for head coach Brian August the past two seasons. He helped lead the Wildcats to back-to-back CACC Tournament Championships in 2012 and 2013, as well as to a pair of NCAA East Region Tournament appearances.

As a senior, Johnson was named to the ABCA/Rawlings East Region Gold Glove Second Team for his defensive play in center field as well as Second Team All-CACC. He led the team with 20 stolen bases and batted .323 from atop the team’s lineup in 2013.

In two seasons, he batted .321 (97-for-302) with 10 doubles, 81 runs scored, and 37 RBI. He will be with the team until he heads to New Mexico to play in the Pecos League for the Raton Osos starting in May.
