Jim Fallers – Assistant Coach - Catchers

Biography

Jim Fallers is back as an assistant coach of the Wilmington University baseball program for the seventh consecutive year. Coach Fallers spent the 2003 and 2004 seasons as an assistant to former head coach Matt Brainard.

Fallers spent two years as an assistant coach on the University of Delaware baseball staff, under former Wildcat head coach Jim Sherman, during the 2005 and 2006 campaigns.

Coach Fallers was a three-time NAIA All-American catcher (1995, 1996, 1997) during his career at Wilmington. Coach Fallers was a member of two National Tournament teams here and his experiences will be invaluable.

Fallers will be primarily responsible for the catchers in 2012, and assisting Coach August with the offense. His knowledge and passion for the game will benefit the entire roster, especially the Wildcat catchers.

Coach Fallers resides in New Castle with his wife Missi, and his three children, Brendan and James (19) and Reid (3). Brendan and James are sophomores on this year’s Wildcat squad.
