Biography
Russell Dobos joins the Wilmington University men’s soccer program after a successful two year stint on the team in 2010 and 2011. He will work closely with the goalkeepers for the Wildcats in 2012.
In two years under head coach Nick Papanicolas, Dobos played in nine games, making 11 saves while going 2-1 overall in the cage. He came to Wilmington in 2010 after playing two years at Burlington County College from 2008-09.
Dobos is a certified NSCAA Goalkeeper 2 classification and continues to master the techniques and teaching as a goalkeeping trainer for youth teams since 2010. He is also qualified as a AAAI Certified Personal Trainer. He currently works as a personal trainer at Enduro5 Fitness along with fellow men’s soccer coach Tony DiVirgilio.
Dobos graduated from Wilmington University in the spring of 2012 with a bachelor’s in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a minor in Mathematics. He twice earned Dean’s List honors, in the spring 2011 and again in the spring 2012.
