Dave Bugda – Assistant Coach and Director of Recruiting


Biography

Dave Bugda returns to the Wilmington University women's soccer coaching staff for 2013 as the Director of Recruiting after being an assistant coach from 2009-11. Previously, he led the Wildcats for two and a half seasons, before turning over the reigns to current head coach Josh Ruggiero.

Bugda came to Wilmington University with 17 years of coaching experience. He spent six years with the Women's program at Bel Air High School in Harford County, Maryland. While there, the Bel Air Bobcats captured five county titles, three regional titles and finished second twice in the state during his tenure.

In addition, Bugda was involved with club soccer in the Baltimore area as well. He coached the Upper Chesapeake Soccer Club Outlaws, a Girls U-18 team. He has also coached the 2001 National Championship 3v3 team from Maryland, which took place in Orlando, Florida. Prior to the Outlaws, Bugda coached the Soccer Club of Baltimore Nitemare (81's) for ten seasons. Coach Bugda is the former Vice President of the Upper Chesapeake Soccer Club and also former Vice President and President of the Harford Kicks Soccer Club.

Bugda holds a coaching license and is a member of The National Coaches Association of America and The National Federation of High School Coaches.
