Lindsay DiEmidio - Assistant Coach
Lindsay DiEmidio begins her second season as Assistant Coach for the Wilmington University Cross Country team. She is a 2005 graduate of Wilmington University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and completed her graduate degree in Instructional Technology in 2006.
Prior to Wilmington University, Lindsay graduated from Padua Academy in Wilmington, Delaware. While at Padua, she participated in field hockey, basketball, and softball.
While attending Wilmington University, Lindsay played on the basketball team from 2001-2004. She also began her running career in 2003 as a member of the cross country team, running for three consecutive years from 2003-2005, earning the distinctive honor of team captain for both the 2004 and 2005 seasons. After graduation, Lindsay became the women’s track coach at Gunning Bedford Middle School where she had two undefeated seasons. Currently, she is a 5th grade teacher at Wilbur Elementary School in Bear, Delaware.
