‘CATS BLANK FELICIAN IN VOLLEYBALL, 3-0
NEW CASTLE, DE -- Sophomore outside hitter Brooke Foskey posted 13 kills to lead the Wildcats of Wilmington University to a 3-0 victory over the Golden Falcons of Felician College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) volleyball action on Saturday afternoon at the Pratt Center.
Wilmington (8-3 CACC/11-6) won in straight sets, by scores of 25-21, 25-17, and 25-13.
The Wildcats were led by Foskey’s 13 kills and two blocks. Junior Nicole Wiechecki added eight kills and eight digs, while the setter duo of Shannon Rumple and Kasey Couch had 19 and 12 assists, respectively.
Felician (0-12 CACC/0-19) was led by Anni Polscher’s match-high 17 kills. Setter Megan Delamater added 25 assists, while libero Ashlee DiSalvo posted a match-high 12 digs.
The ‘Cats return to the court on Tuesday afternoon, when they travel to take on the Rams of Philadelphia University in a CACC contest beginning at 7:00 PM.
