
Jared Hughart enters his third season as an assistant coach at Wilmington University. Jared graduated from St. Marks High School in Wilmington, Delaware, where he earned Regional All-American and First Team All-State honors. While there, he helped lead the Spartans to four consecutive state championships.
Coach Hughart was a four-year member of the Wildcat men’s soccer team. In 2003 he helped lead the ‘Cats defense to the regular-season Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference title. Hughart finished his collegiate soccer career with 16 goals and 16 assists, and was named First Team All-CACC in 2003, and earned Second Team All-Conference honors in both 2004 and 2005.
Prior coming to Wilmington, Coach Hughart spent the 2007 season as an assistant coach at St. Mark’s High School, where he was in charge of tactical training and defense. Jared graduated from Wilmington University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Currently, he works with his family owned and operated landscaping business, Hughart Brothers’ Landscaping.
