Saturday's baseball doubleheader featuring the Wilmington University Wildcats and Bloomfield College Deacons has been moved to Yogi Berra Stadium on the campus of Montclair State University in Montclair, N.J.
The first pitch is now scheduled for 11 a.m. and has moved to site better designed and equipped for the expected inclement weather this weekend.
The 3,700 seat Yogi Berra Stadium opened in 1998 and in addition to being home of the Red Hawks, it also serves as home of the Can-Am League New Jersey Jackals. Named after legendary New York Yankees Hall of Fame catcher Yogi Berra, the ballpark is adjacent to the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center. The stadium has served as the host for several special events, including NCAA Tournaments, Major League Lacrosse and several rock concerts including performers Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson.
