Men’s and Women’s CACC Tournament Quarterfinal Matches Moved up One Day Due to Hurricane Sandy

The men now play Monday, October 29 at 12 p.m. still at a site to be determinedThe women will now play on Sunday, October 28 at 12 p.m. at the WU Athletics Complex
The quarterfinals of the 2012 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's and Women's Soccer Tournaments have been rescheduled due to the threat of inclement weather from Hurricane Sandy.
The women’s quarterfinal, which was originally scheduled to be played the Wilmington University Athletics Complex on Monday, October 29 starting at 2 p.m., will now be played on Sunday, October 28. Game time is slated for 12:00 p.m. and will still be played at Wilmington since the Wildcats claimed the number one overall seed.
The men’s quarterfinals, which were originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday, October 30 at the campus of the high seed, will now be played on Monday, October 29. Game Times are slated for 12:00 p.m. and will still be played at the higher seed’s field. The men are currently in the fourth spot in the standings, but their seed is still up in the air heading into the final weekend of play.
Winners will advance to the CACC men's and women's soccer semifinals, which are scheduled to be contested on Thursday, Nov. 1. The women's semifinals will be played at Municipal Stadium in Waterbury, while the men's semifinals will be played at LaMoy Field on the campus of Post University.
The CACC Men's and Women's Soccer championship matches will be played on Saturday, Nov. 3. (12 p.m./women) (2 p.m./men) at LaMoy Field on the campus of Post University in Waterbury, Conn.
