Season Preview: First Year Head Coach Lauren Rizzo Begins Reign with Spring Break Trip to Florida

The Wilmington University softball team heads to Clermont, Fla. for their annual Spring Break trip, playing 20 games in two weeks which will make up a majority of its nonconference schedule for 2013.
The team is looking to improve upon its 26-25 overall record from 2012 and earn a higher seed then its fourth place regular season finish in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference from a season ago. The Wildcats won a program record 18 games in the CACC last year, going 18-8 but was bounced out of the tournament on the first day.
