Lawrence Named to CACC Softball Weekly Honor Roll

Junior pitcher Kim Lawrence (McKean HS/Wilmington, DE) has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference weekly honor roll for her performance this past week.

In two games, Lawrence went 2-0 with a 0.00 earned run average. In 15 innings pitched, she gave up just four hits and struck out 12, while not walking a single batter. Her two wins came in a 6-0, eight-inning, three-hit, seven-strikeout victory over Felician College, and in a 1-0, one-hit, 14-strikeout win over Nyack College. Opponents just hit .085 off her all week, and she along with fellow hurlers Katie Turner (Smyrna HS/Smyrna, DE) and Heather Karasek (North County HS/Linthicum, MD) combined to throw five straight shutouts during the week.
