Griffin, a sophomore forward, led the team by averaging 11 rebounds per week last week, while also denying seven shot attempts in the two games. He helped the team open the CACC schedule with a 63-62 victory over Chestnut Hill on Wednesday before falling to NYIT on Saturday, 85-83, in overtime.

In addition to that payload, Griffin swatted four shots at Chestnut Hill while blocking three attempts against NYIT. Of his 22 rebounds on the week, 12 came on the defensive glass.
Wilmington’s next opponent will be USciences on Wednesday and the Devils are led by this week’s CACC Player of the Week Garret Kerr after he helped the team to a 2-1 week. He led the team in scoring in all three games scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season against Cheyney. He also scored a season high 28 points against Pitt-Johnstown before scoring 25 points and adding nine rebounds against #10 Indiana (Pa.).
