Biography

At Gettysburg: Played one season of football at Gettysburg as a safety before transferring to Wilmington in the fall of 2009.

High School: Three-year letterwinner for head coach Mel Gardner at William Penn High School as a first baseman and outfielder – also a three-year letterwinner at William Penn as a quarterback and a safety on the football team – named All-Conference for both sports as a senior – earned All-Conference Academics for work in the classroom as well – named to the honor roll while in high school.

Personal: Brandon Donald Payne – son of Donald and Kris Payne – has a younger brother, Ryan – criminal justice major at Wilmington with aspirations of joining the law enforcement after graduation.
