Biography

2013 Season: Appeared in 26 games out of the bullpen for the Wildcats as a junior – picked up lone win of the season in 1.2 innings of work against Molloy, striking out four batters – tossed a season high 3.2 innings against West Chester on April 23 – also tossed three innings at Dominican and against Shippensburg – had two strings of five straight appearances without allowing a run throughout the season.

2012 Season: Appeared in 13 games as a sophomore, making three starts – made starts against St. Thomas (Fla.), USciences, and Millersville – pitched a season high five innings against USciences on March 20, striking out three batters – picked up lone win of the season in two innings of work against Post on March 14.

2011 Season: Appeared in 10 games as a freshman, making three starts – picked up first career win in a start and five innings of work against Washington Adventist on March 17 – struck out season high six batters at Palm Beach Atlantic on March 6 in six innings of work – also struck out five batters against Washington Adventist – made third start of the year at USciences – did not give up a run until his six appearance of the season.

High School: Three-year letterwinner for head coach Joe Tremoglie at Roman Catholic in Philadelphia – named First Team All-Catholic League as a pitcher – also earned four varsity letters in ice hockey, playing center and right wing – named First Team All-Catholic as a center.

Personal: Timothy James Racek – son of Timothy and Eileen Racek – has an older sister, Brittany, who played four years of softball at East Stroudsburg University – sports management major at Wilmington with a goal of owning his own sports business – if he could have the perfect meal prepared for him, he would have chicken parmesan with pasta – if he could be the head coach of a team for a year he would choose the Philadelphia Flyers – the most played song on his iPod is Jake Owen’s “Eight Second Ride”.
