Biography

At Cecil CC: Played two seasons for Charlie O’Brien – earned second team NJCAA All-American as a sophomore in 2012 – named first team Region XX in both seasons – played in 57 games in 2012, leading the team to a 36-22 record – collected 85 hits as a sophomore, 39 of which went for doubles, 16 home runs and one triple, hitting .423 – knocked in 67 RBIs while scoring 72 runs – helped the team to a 39-15-1 record and a Region XX appearance as a freshman – hit .411 in 2011 with 53 RBI and 65 runs scored in 52 games – hit 26 doubles and had 13 home runs as a freshman.

High School: Three year letterwinner at Avon Grove under head coach Tim Rector – played shortstop and outfield – named All-Chestmont during his tenure in high school.

Personal: Josh Ryan Hampton – son of Sandra Hampton – has an older brother, Jeremy – majoring in criminal justice at Wilmington University.
