Biography

At Cecil CC: Played two seasons at Cecil CC, coming in as a freshman in 2009 and playing as a sophomore in 2011 – pitched in 18 games as a sophomore, going 3-1 with a 4.32 ERA – struck out 30 batters while recording two saves.

High School: Two year letter winner in baseball at Selinsgrove High School as a pitcher – also earned two varsity letters on the basketball team as a center.

Personal: Jarrett Scott Shaffer – son of Donald and Diane Shaffer – has an older sister, Megan – majoring in management information systems at Wilmington University with aspirations of working as an IT Tech.
