Biography

2013 Season: Was needed halfway through the season to break his redshirt due to injuries in the midfield – first game as a Wildcat came on March 29 against Post, as he went 1-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored – also went 2-for-4 with an RBI against West Chester – appeared in three of the five games in the NCAA East Region Tournament, recording an RBI against Franklin Pierce in the NCAA East Region Tournament Championship.

High School: Three year letterwinner in baseball at Concord High School under head coach Tim Hamberger – was the Gatorade Player of the Year Runner Up for the state of Delaware as a senior, also playing football – named First Team All-State, First Team All-Conference Flight A, and the starting shortstop in the Delaware Blue-Gold Game as a senior in 2012 – named Second Team All-Conference in 2011 – earned the Paul Wellborn Award for humanitarian efforts in athletics, academics, and leadership – four year honor roll student.

Personal: Michael Paul Annone – son of Michael and Marguerite Annone – has a twin sister Maria – majoring in sports management at Wilmington University – one of his favorite all-time athletes is Derek Jeter – if he could be anything other than a college or professional athlete he would want to be a sports agent – if he could date a celebrity, he would date Melanie Iglesias.
