Biography

At Frederick C.C.: Two year pitcher at Frederick C.C – helped lead the Cougars to a 39-16 overall record in 2013, making an appearance in the Region XX Tournament – recorded a team high six saves in 16 appearances as a sophomore, going 1-1 overall – struck out 18 batters in 23 innings and finished with a 2.35 ERA in 2013 – went 2-2 in 13 games as a freshman, making one save and recording 22 strikeouts in 22.1 innings pitched.

High School: Four year letterwinner at Brentsville High School in Nokesville, Va., as a third baseman and pitcher – named Second Team All-Conference as a third baseman in two seasons – helped lead his team to districts all four years and earn two regional tournament berths – National Honor Society member – earned two academic letters.

Personal: Ryan Austin Douglas – son of Donald and Deborah Douglas – has an older brother, Adam – majoring in criminal justice at Wilmington University with aspirations of working with the United States Secret Service Counter Assault Team (CAT) – one of his favorite athletes is Craig Kimbrel – other than baseball, he enjoys hunting and fishing – his favorite cartoon character is the Road Runner – his perfect meal would be BBQ Pork, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and gravy with sweet tea.
