Freshman Season: Named CACC Rookie of the Year after ending the season second in the CACC and top freshman with a 287 Divisional Rating – competed in nine tournaments before an injury sat him out for the CACC Tournament and NCAA Division II Super Regionals – averaged 75.67 strokes per round as a freshman, which ranks seventh in Wildcats’ history, including a season low 70 at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate in Hawaii in the first round – tied for first place in the dual match with Felician, shooting a 76 at Bear Trap Dunes.
High School: Four year letterwinner in golf and two year letterwinner in basketball from North Carroll High School in Hampstead, Md. – as a sophomore he led his team to the State Championship – placed third at States as a senior – was also on the schools honor roll four years in a row.
Personal: Samuel Joseph Clark – son of Charles and Shawn Clark – middle brother to Charles and Grace – majoring in business management at Wilmington University with aspirations on becoming a business owner – from Hampstead, Md. – his favorite athlete is Steve Stricker – his favorite movie is Bagger Vance – if he could be the head coach of any team, he would coach Team USA in the Ryder Cup – favorite professional sports team is the Baltimore Orioles – the perfect prepared meal would be chicken Chesapeake.
