Biography
Prior to Wilmington University: Went to Edison Prep, which was the 8th ranked prep team in the nation (2009-10) – played a season at Victory Valley College (2010-11) where he was the leading scorer on the team – then transferred to Monroe College for a season (2011-12) where he helped lead his team to the National Championship – Hoop Group All Star MVP – also had 2nd highest GPA on the Monroe College basketball team
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Newark Arts High School – the all-time leading scorer with 1,308 points
Personal: Prophet N. Kates – son of Curtis Price and Taheera Kates – has three younger siblings, Talib Price, Darnell Brodie, and Tariq Carey – majoring in criminal justice at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a FBI agent – from Newark, NJ
