Biography

High School: Played two seasons at the Caravel Academy before transferring to St. Mark’s for junior and senior season – helped lead the team to a Delaware State Championship as a sophomore at Caravel Academy – named Honorable Mention All-State as a junior in 2011 – earned second team all-conference as a junior and a senior – earned a spot to play in the Blue-Gold All-Star Game

Personal: Emily L. Nowell – daughter of Alex and Sue Nowell – middle of three siblings, Alexis and Brett – sister, Alexis, played four seasons of softball at the University of South Florida (2008-12), helping the team to the 2012 Women’s College World Series – majoring in elementary education at Wilmington University
