Biography

At Goldey-Beacom: Played one season at Goldey-Beacom, appearing in 35 games as a freshman in 2012 – helped Lightning to a 22-23 overall record and a 12-14 CACC record – batted .257 with 2 doubles, a triple, eight RBI and scored 11 runs.

High School: Four year letterwinner in softball at Caravel Academy for head coach Randy Johnson – helped lead the team to back-to-back DIAA State Championships in 2010 and 2011 – helped lead team to 21-1 overall record as a senior, defeating Smyrna, 4-2, in the DIAA State Championship – helped team to a 19-3 overall record as a junior, defeating Milford, 6-2, in the DIAA State Championship – also played basketball and volleyball at Caravel Academy – honor roll student.

Personal: Katrina Maria Swank – daughter of Craig and Karen Swank – has two older siblings, Matt and Kirstin, and a younger sister, Kiera – sister, Kirsten, played softball at Lynchburg College (2005-08), brother Matt, played college football at the Merchant Marine Academy – majoring in business management at Wilmington University with aspirations of working in pharmaceutical sales – the most played song on her iPod is “That’s My Kinda Night” by Luke Bryan – if she could be someone else for a day, she would be Kim Kardashian – her favorite movie is The Sandlot.
