Biography

Freshman Season (2013): Played in all 32 matches as a true freshman, completing 117 sets – named CACC Rookie of the Year – named Honorable Mention All-CACC – tied for the team lead with 303 kills and led the team with a 2.59 kills per set average – tallied four double-doubles on the year, first against Georgian Court with 11 kills and 11 digs – set season highs in both kills (17) and digs (18) against USciences on October 25, her fourth double-double of the year – had 15 matches with double digit kills, including a stretch of six straight matches from October 15 to October 26.

High School:  Four time letterwinner in volleyball First team all section and team MVP two years in a row in volleyball at Gateway Senior High School under coaches Jay Wu, Chris Neoplitan and Greg Lockley-  Not only did she lead her team on the court but also in the classroom where she was a member of the National Honor Society with Distinguished Honors.

Personal:  Allison S. Briley- Daughter of Bill and Cindy Briley- has an older brother Tom and an older sister Julia Briley- Majoring in Business Management at Wilmington University with aspirations of becoming a business consultant- from Monroeville, Pa. – Favorite sports team is the Pittsburg Pirates – the perfect prepared meal would be shrimp, bread, potatoes, and ice cream for dessert – the greatest piece of advice she received has been “don’t think, just play” – her favorite movie is “Shutter Island”.
