Biography

2012 Season (Junior): Appeared in 19 games as a junior, making six starts – recorded one assist from the back line – assisted on the final goal against Concordia on October 6, a cross to Jenna Quaranta in the 61st minute - helped lead a defense that produced a 1.35 goals against average on the season, second in the CACC.

2011 Season (Sophomore): Appeared in 18 matches as a sophomore, starting the last 16 of the year – recorded an assist and took 15 shots as a defender – assisted on the game-winning goal in the 31st minute against Concordia on October 8, a 2-0 victory.

2010 Season (Freshman): Played in 19 matches as a true freshman, making 13 starts, including the first 10 of her career – recorded four goals and added two assists to finish fifth on the team with 10 points – scored first collegiate goal on September 18 at Post in the ninth minute – scored in back-to-back games late in the season, first the lone goal against Bridgeport on October 28 and again versus Felician on November 1 in the CACC Tournament Quarterfinals – also added a pair of assists in the 6-3 victory over Felician in the CACC Tournament Quarterfinals.

High School: Four year letter-winner in soccer at Bangor High School under head coach Ken Wilson – named First Team All-Conference and All-Area as a senior – named Second Team All-Conference as a junior – earned All-Conference Honorable Mention as a freshman and sophomore – also earned three letters in football as a kicker – named Second Team All-Conference as a sophomore, junior and senior – holds the record for most PAT’s in a season

Personal: Monica M. Weil – daughter of Michael Weil – has a younger brother, Michael – majoring in psychology at Wilmington University-the most played song on her iPod is “Here’s To Never Growing Up” by Avril Lavigne- if she could be someone else for a day it would be Jennifer Aniston- the biggest role model in her life is Hope Solo- and if she could be a head coach of a team for a year it would be a little girls football team
