2012: All-CACC (third at the CACC Championship) – joined the program midway through the season, running in the final five meets of the season – challenged for the top spot in each of the races, finishing in the top five in three events – finished a season’s best second place at the GBC Fall Classic – had a season fastest time of 25:48 at the Don Cathcart Invite, finishing in seventh – finished third at the CACC Championship in a time of 27:33 – finished a team best 22nd at the East Regional Meet in 31:16.5 for the 10K.

At University of Delaware: Ran two years of cross country under head coach Jim Fischer from 2008-09 – also ran one season of indoor track and field in 2009 two season of outdoor track and field in 2009-10.

High School: Earned 11 varsity letters in cross country (4), outdoor track (4) and indoor track (3) at St. Mark’s – named the 2007 team captain and helped lead the cross country team to a Division I State Championship

Personal: Michael Ottis O’Brian – son of Mike and Maryanne O’Brian – has an older brother, Matt – Matt, brother, ran for head coach Keith Jones and the Wildcats in 2009 and also ran cross country at the University of Delaware – earning his masters in Management in Healthcare Administration at Wilmington University with aspirations of owning a hospital – from Bear, Del.
