Kenny McGrady - Volunteer Assistant Coach

Kenny McGrady begins his first year as an assistant coach of the Wildcat baseball program. A graduate of Wilmington University, Coach McGrady was a two-year standout for the Wildcats.

During his first season, McGrady went 9-1 with a 2.10 ERA in 17 appearances. He led the CACC in wins, ERA, and in 64.1 innings pitched, Kenny gave up 56 hits and 23 runs (15 ER). McGrady stuck out 50 while only walking 14, and his opponents hit a dismal .228 against the southpaw. He was named first team All-CACC, CACC Pitcher of the Year, First Team NCBWA All-Northeast Region and Second Team ABCA All-Northeast Region.

McGrady finished his senior year going 3-4 with a 5.42 ERA. He led the CACC in strikeouts, fanning 79 batters in 78 innings of work. He was named to the NCBWA All-Northeast Region Second Team.

Coach McGrady's primary responsibilities will be working with the pitching staff.
