Joy of Sharing Toy Drive

Wilmington University is partnering with CBS3 for the 23rd Annual Toy Campaign benefiting the Salvation Army! The Toy Drive kicked off on November 1, 2013. Bins are located in the Pratt Student Center and various places around each campus where you can drop off "new" unwrapped toys. For every toy you drop off in bins in the Pratt Student Center, you will be entered in a drawing for a $50 Visa Gift Card. More information can be viewed at www.wilmu.edu/ToyDrive.

WU Celebrates Wildcat Pride Week

Wildcat Pride Week was the week of October 14-18 held in the Student Center. "20 Minute Tango” kicked off the party on Monday afternoon singing their hit “Drive”. Tuesday was one of the week's most attended events;--"Taco Tuesday/Karaoke Night". Wednesday was "Wildcat Fun Day" and Thursday was “Tailgate Night”. Friday night concluded the Wildcat Pride Week with our Annual Hoopfest event in the gymnasium at the WU Athletics Complex. The entire University community showed their pride by wearing school colors all week, and decorating their offices, and work spaces. Congratulations to the Dover site for winning the "Show your Wildcat Pride decorating contest". The whole week was a huge success!

Wildcat Pride Week Testimonial

Lance Berry

What’s up my fellow WU students? My name is Lance Berry and I love being a student at Wilmington University and I have lots of Wildcat Pride.

Lance Berry

The following is a Q & A between Student Life and Lance Berry:

SL: How many events did you participate in during Wildcat Pride Week?

Lance: I attended 4 out of 5 of the events. The only one I missed was the Wednesday Wildcat Fun Day. I had a Home Soccer Game that day.

SL: What was your favorite event?

Lance: Hmm…that’s a tough one, I loved Taco Tuesday/Karaoke night, but Friday night’s Hoopfest was awesome!

SL: Did you win any prizes during Wildcat Pride Week?

Lance: No, but I got a Free Wildcat Pride Week T-shirt during every event because I was always one of the first people there, so you may say that I got 5 prizes. I gave one T-shirt to my mom, she loves WU too.

SL: What would you say to those that missed Wildcat Pride Week?

Lance: Definitely try to be there next year, but every event that WU Student Life runs is awesome! Come out to the next event and get involved.

Career Services Introduces, "Career Link"

Career Link is an interface in which students, alumni, employers, and Career Services can interact. Students and alumni can view and apply for positions on this system and learn about other career-related workshops and events. Employers can search resumes and contact potential new hires as well.  To use Career Link, you need to use your WilmU ID to log- in; however, you will need to create a new password because it is a different system than Blackboard.

If you need a full-time or part-time job, or internship, you can go onto: www.myinterfase.com/wilmu/student

International Fashion Show
