Student Life News
September 2013

Dear [FIRST_NAME],

Anah Galloway Photo

Greetings and welcome to all new and returning students. My name is Anah Galloway; I am the Student Government Association President for the 2013-2014 academic year. There's no better time than now to get involved with your University.

I was intimidated when I started here at Wilmington to step out of my comfort zone and just show up to interest meetings or events. Since taking that first step by attending a simple interest meeting, Wilmington offered me opportunities to travel, meet new friends, network with professionals, improve my leadership skills, and work on my fear of public speaking, just to list a few.

I encourage you to take advantage of the many events, activities, organizations, and services outside the classroom provided by Student Life. Good luck with your classes and I hope to see each of you getting involved this year.

Sincerely

Anah Galloway, President
Student Government Association (SGA)

Spend some time in the Tree House located above the “pit” or the multiple lounge areas located all over the main floor.

Health and Wellness

Wilmington University is committed to offering healthy options. These options include Student Health 101 online magazine, healthy foods at the Italian Kitchen café, and an online mental health screening offered to all students.
