Joy of Sharing Toy Drive was a Success! 800 Toys Collected!
Wilmington University partnered with CBS3 for the 23rd Annual Toy Campaign benefiting the Salvation Army! The Toy Drive kicked off on November 1, 2013. Bins were located in the Pratt Student Center and various places around each WilmU site where students and staff dropped off "new" unwrapped toys. Over 800 Toys were collected from all campuses. "The participation we've had in the 'Joy of Sharing' campaign really shows the generosity and holiday spirit of the entire University community," said Dr. Regina Allen-Sharpe, Senior Director of Career Services and Student Life. "We are happy to get involved with this campaign and we're even happier to see that so many people have donated toys so that kids can have the holiday they deserve."
