Admission

For full acceptance to the Administration of Human Services program:

A. Before registering for your 1st course:

  1. Submit the Wilmington University graduate application for admission and the non-refundable application processing fee.

B. Register for either AHS 6600 Available Online or AHS 6640 Available Online as one of your first semester courses.

C. Prior to completing your 1st course:

  1. Submit an official transcript from an accredited college, university, or other degree-granting institution, verifying completion of a bachelor's degree. Send official transcript(s) directly to the Wilmington University Graduate Admissions Office from the identified college or university. Transcripts must be official, indicating the college or university seal.
  2. Meet with the program chair for a program planning conference.  Students are encouraged to bring a statement of career goals and resume for discussion at the meeting.

D. Prior to completing your 4th course:

  1. Complete a writing assessment with a holistic score of 3/6 or better.
  2. Submit a statement of career goals and resume.

This information applies to students who enter this degree program during the 2011-2012 Academic Year. If you entered this degree program before the Fall 2011 semester, please refer to the academic catalog for the year you began your degree program.
