Wilmington University has developed new courses of study in Administration of Justice that provides all of this for you.There are three specialized concentrations and a new Post Master’s Certificate in Homeland Security.

Concentrations

Leadership and Administration

Develop leadership and administrative skills that are necessary for successful criminal justice professionals. Students will broaden their understanding of the management function and the administrative process as they relate to criminal justice organizations.

Criminal Behavior

The skills and knowledge needed for criminal justice practitioners in the client-oriented professions that include probation, parole, community corrections, and the judicial referral of offenders is the focus. Students learn the concepts associated with criminal behavior as they apply to working with a specialized population.

Homeland Security

Gain an understanding and a working knowledge of major issues in Homeland Security.  Examine current topics in Homeland Security including modern terrorism, risk assessment and management, and the practical legal implications involved. The courses are designed to stay current and provide essential, timely and practical information.

Post Master's Certificate in Homeland Security

Issues involving homeland security have become a priority at all levels of government and the corporate world. Professionals in these fields need to know the problems involved and be prepared to adapt to the ever changing landscapes in homeland security. With today’s emphasis on Homeland Security and the constant change for criminal justice practitioners and those in related fields, this Post Master’s Certificate is for professionals who strive to stay knowledgeable on current trends. This credential is for those who have earned a master’s degree in criminal justice or a related discipline and want to broaden their understanding of Homeland Security issues in an academic environment.

Complete Your Master's in Just 12 Months!

The degree can be completed in as little as 12 months or in 18 to 24 months following a more traditional schedule. Because modular courses are offered every month, there is no need to wait until the beginning of a new semester to start your degree. Courses for this advanced degree are offered on weekends and evenings.
