Scott Mance - Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach Scott Mance is back for his fourth year with the Wildcat coaching staff this fall, bringing with him valuable Division I running experience, a knowledge of the local programs and runners, and an outstanding ability to recruit new talent into the program.

Coach Mance ran for Mt. Pleasant high school, where he was a varsity member of the squad and an integral part of the team his Junior and Senior seasons. He continued his running career by attending the NCAA Division I running program at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, where he ran Cross Country for the Chanticleers during his first year. He attended the school from 1996-98.

He later transferred to Wilmington University, where in the fall of 2001 he ran cross country during the team's inaugural season, being named Men's team captain and helping the squad win their first ever Home Invitational Meet. He later graduated from Wilmington University in the spring of 2003, receiving his Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.
