Dr. Ruth T. Norman is assistant professor and director of the Doctor of Business Administration program at Wilmington University. Dr. Norman received her Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Delaware, with a focus on business policy, corporate social responsibility/business ethics, and media coverage of science and business issues. She also holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Delaware. Prior to joining the faculty at Wilmington University, she taught at the University of Delaware, Argosy University, and Sarajevo Graduate School of Business (Bosnia). Dr. Norman has extensive management experience. She served as worldwide director of marketing for the Resins Division of Hercules and vice president for Simplica (a high-tech start-up). She also held various management, marketing, communications, and new product development positions at Delmarva Power and Light, Scott Paper Company, and ICI.
