Biography
Barbara Sartell has a total of 26 years in nursing to date, 23 of which she has been an educator. While teaching, she has had positions in Bone Marrow Transplant, Surgical Intensive Care, ER, ICU, Nurse Epidemiologist, Director of Staff Development and Telemetry.
An Adult Nurse Practitioner for 8 years, she has had positions in Geriatrics, Corrections, Public Health, Primary Care and Women’s Health.
Areas of expertise in teaching include Cultural Diversity and Gerontology. She is also interested in Global Health Care and has practiced in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
