Biography

After obtaining her nursing diploma from Beebe Medical Center School of Nursing, Denise received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Wilmington University. Currently, she is pursuing her EdD in Higher Education and Adult Learning through Walden University. Denise achieved national certification through the National League for Nursing as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE).

Prior to her role as Assistant Professor and RN-BSN Program Coordinator, Denise served as the Director of Nursing of a free-standing, ambulatory surgery center. Additionally, her experience encompassed clinical faculty for the Beebe School of Nursing, perioperative nurse educator, women’s health, community health, emergency nursing, and sexual assault nurse examiner. Denise’s interests include leadership, distance learning, curriculum, and forensics.
