Marcella Willson was born and raised in New York. After teaching several years in New York, she came to Delaware to teach at St. Mark's High School. While there she also taught part time at Delaware Technical and Community College, Goldey Beacom, Antioch University and Cecile Community College. While working for Delaware Tech, she taught at General Motors.
In 1984, she joined the Wilmington University faculty. She has taught Wilmington University courses at New Castle campus, Chrysler, and the Delaware River and Bay Authority. Presently, she is teaching in the College of Arts and Sciences. Besides teaching classes at the New Castle campus, she has taught classes in Mt. Laurel, NJ, and for the University at the New Castle campus and in Cumberland, N.J.
