Distance Learning Orientation for Students

All students who wish to take a distance learning course at Wilmington College must complete the prerequisite course DIS095, Distance Learning Orientation for Students. DIS095 is FREE of charge and can be completed through Blackboard in approximately 60 minutes.

To Enroll and Complete DIS095

  1. Go to http://wilmu.blackboard.com/
  2. Click on Course Catalog.
  3. Log in using your Blackboard username and password.
    • Note: only students who have completed Admission process and received their WebCampus and Blackboard username will be able to complete the orientation.
  4. Click on Distance Learning.
  5. Locate the course DIS.095 in the list
  6. Click Enroll (the button on the right side of the screen from the course name).
  7. At the Self-Enrollment screen, click Submit.
  8. Upon confirmation, click OK.
  9. The orientation will be made available to you immediately!
  10. Complete the orientation to register for online “DIS” courses.

After the completing the orientation, you may continue to access this course for your reference.
