New Hire Technology Training for Staff
Employees may request this training to receive an overview of IT Systems and Microsoft Applications used by staff to perform their jobs efficiently.
On behalf of the Educational Technology Department, welcome to Wilmington University. The mission of the Educational Technology Department is to provide faculty and staff with effective professional development by offering training, resources, and support.
Since you are new to the University, we would like to offer the opportunity for you to set up a New Hire Technology Training session. During this session, you will receive an overview and hands-on practice with the various software that will be necessary to effectively complete your job – including Blackboard, CAMS, SSRS, SharePoint, Outlook, the Employee Portal, and more. Following the training, we will email your supervisor and the Human Resources department to inform them of your progress. Upon completion of Lync training, you receive a free headset from the Educational Technology Department to use for webinars/online meetings.
The New Hire Technology Training session should take approximately an hour to complete. Click here to register for one of the upcoming dates that the Educational Technology Team has set aside for us to train together as a group.
