SafeAssign is a service offered by Blackboard which helps educators prevent plagiarism by detecting unoriginal content in student papers.
Grade Center is one of the most useful tools in an instructors arsenal. Both online and face-to-face instructors can benefit from using the Blackboard-based grade book and powerful grade calculation tools.
The Rubric tool in Blackboard is entirely interactive (meaning you can grade right inside the rubric.) Once created and attached to a graded activity, the score and feedback entered in the rubric will automatically be recorded in the Grade Center. Rubrics can be attached to Assignments, Discussion Board, Essay, Short Answer and File Response Test Questions, Wiki entries, Journal entries, Blog entries and Grade Center Grade Columns.
