Wilmington University's Master of Education in Special Education: Instruction provides licensed educators who are interested in acquiring research-based skills, knowledge and practices in teaching students with disabilities.

Students with disabilities must be taught by professionals who are trained in the identification, assessment, and teaching of individuals with exceptionalities. To reach this goal, the Master of Education in Special Education: Instruction program has three distinct options. Students will identify two of the three following categories to pursue:

  • K-12 Teacher of Students with Disabilities
  • Autism & Severe Intellectual Disabilities
  • Early Childhood/Exceptional Children.
