E-mail Software Setup

Wilmington University students can now setup their e-mail client software or mobile device to receive their WU student e-mail account messages.

Instructions

  1. Log in to your e-mail account
  2. In the upper-right corner of your browser window, click Settings
  3. Click the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab
  4. Click the settings as below:

  5. We encourage you to use the IMAP access instead of POP download for your e-mail client or mobile device. Here's why…
  6. If your software or device does not support IMAP, then choose the POP Download option.
  7. Click "Configuration Instructions" for help configuring your specific e-mail software.
  8. Enter all the settings into your e-mail software as directed, substituting only your Wilmington University e-mail address ( username@wildcats.wilmu.edu ) and password (your WebCampus/Blackboard username/password) anywhere requested. All other server and port settings should be entered as directed.
