- www.developfaculty.com Although this is a teaching consultant’s commercial website, it does provide a number of teaching tips as well as 140 specialized websites (click the “online resources” button) for post-secondary teaching.
- www.wilmu.edu/edtech/instructionaldesign/index.html This valuable directory of web links to teaching resources was assembled by Educational Technology of Wilmington University and is part of their website. It is based on the “Seven Principles for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education.” Click on any of the seven branches of the tree.
- www.chronicle.com This is the website for the Chronicle of Higher Education which is a weekly publication that has diverse articles and information.
- www.eric.ed.gov/ A search engine enabling access to millions of research reports. A must for students doing Teacher-As-Researcher papers and a key source of scholarly research for faculty.
- www.ntlf.com/ A newsletter about teaching and learning in a post-secondary environment.
- www.innovateonline.info Innovate is a bimonthly, peer-reviewed online periodical (ISSN 1552-3233) published by the Fischler School of Education and Human Services at Nova Southeastern University. The journal focuses on the creative use of IT to enhance educational processes in academic, commercial, and governmental settings. Free subscription.
- tlc.unlv.edu This is the website for the Teaching and Learning Center at U of Nevada at Las Vegas. Contains a large list of concisely written tips and suggestions for post-secondary teaching. Within the site, go to “pedagogy resources” and then click the “teaching tips” button to access a menu of topics.
- www.isu.edu/ctl/nutshells/index.html This newsletter was begun in 1991 at U of Wisconsin and is now continued at Idaho State U. Conveys teaching information that is “practical and … is cognizant of current trends in teaching, learning and thinking.”
- www.uc.edu/pbl/intro_isit.shtml This U of Cincinnati site offers comprehensive info and insights into Problem Based Learning (PBL), including a 7 item checklist to determine if PBL actually is being used in the classroom.
- www.udel.edu/pbl/ This U of Delaware site provides a good background on PBL and uses video clips to help understand PBL.

The section on “Generic Learning and Teaching Resources and Issues” contains useful information on a variety of topics. The site also includes a listing of subject specific resources and other educational resources.
- http://www.merlot.org Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching (MERLOT) is a collection of links to online learning materials in subject disciplines such as the Arts, Education, Humanities, Mathematics and Statistics, Science and Technology, and Social Sciences.
