Mileage Reimbursement
It is the practice of Wilmington University to reimburse employees for the use of their personal vehicles when traveling on university business.
The University pays for miles actually traveled while on university business. Per IRS regulations, you are not on university business while traveling from your home to your normal place of employment.
Many employees travel from site to site on University business. The following table is for your use in computing mileage.
Effective January 1, 2013–December 31, 2013 the actual mileage reimbursement rate is $0.565 Cents Per Mile

Note: If you live in the New Castle vicinity but your primary site location is Dover and you attend a meeting first thing in the morning or last thing in the day your mileage to/from Dover would not be reimbursed. Travel to/from the New Castle site to the Wilson Graduate Center and travel to/from the Dover site to the Dover Air Force Base site is not reimbursable.
