How to Apply for Financial Aid
The Application Process

1. Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • Apply online for a pin at http://www.pin.ed.gov
  • With received pin complete application at www.FAFSA.ed.gov.
  • Add Wilmington University’s School Code: 007948
  • If you have questions about how to complete the form call 1-800-4-FED-AID

2. Obtain a student loan (You must complete a FAFSA first!)

3.Wilmington University will contact you within 4-6 week

  • You may receive a Document Tracking Letter requesting additional information, or You may receive a Financial Aid Award Letter that can be used at registration

4. Apply for additional loans as needed

5. Apply for Scholarships
